He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lillian Pooley (Hutt) and Dr. Thomas R. Pooley; his brothers, Thomas (Shirley) and Bill; his wife Aurelia Pires; and his sons, Russell, Joseph, John (Bonnie), James (Linda) and Robert (Jean). He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
