He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Penner and Florence Penner; his wife Iris; and his daughter Lori. He is survived by: his sister Judith Mulkerin (Edward); his sons, David (Elizabeth) and Forrest (Maria); his grandchildren, Isis Viramontes, Michele Conard, Kari Nanyaro and Adam Penner; his grandchildren-in-law, David, Jason, Edward and Robyn; and his great grandchildren, Aidan, Leo, Eva, Isaiah, Logan, Paisley, Raeleigh and Owen.
