He was predeceased by: his brother Everett; and his parents, Leslie Stines and Marion Stines. He is survived by: his wife Cindy of Fillmore; his brothers, Eugene (Liz) of Clarkston, WA, Dean (Jacklyn) of Oxnard, David (Diane) of Santa Paula and Daniel (Joyce) of Fillmore; his daughters, Chelsea (Matthew) of Acton, CA, Candace (James) of Colorado Springs, CO and Chloe (Marcus) of Athol, ID; and his grandchildren, Deegan, Gryffin, Leon and Lilith.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1600 Erbes Rd, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362).
Ernie was a man of all trades, from welding projects to donating his weekends to help 4H & FFA members, he was a kind-hearted man always willing to lend a hand to whoever needed it.
