It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Backman Thompson in Thousand Oaks, California, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on December 5, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Albert Backman and Arletta Eliza Linford; and her husband Wayne Thompson. She is survived by: her sons, Robert W Thompson of Beverly Hills and Kenneth R Thompson of Thousand Oaks; and her granddaughter Crystal of Thousand Oaks. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
