She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Cothran and Ollie Cothran; her husband Paul Houston Sandlin; her daughter Judy Sharon Robertson; her grandson Paul Phillips; and her sister Laveda Theman.
She is survived by: her children, Gale Strickland (Don) and Houston Wayne Sandlin of Keota, Oklahoma.; her grandchildren, Shannon Strickland of New Caney and Donald Strickland Jr. of Oregon; her great grandchild Samantha Strickland Quinton Strickland (Kaitlyn Brittney Strickland); and her great great grandchildren, Joshua and Jonathan Foland.
