He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francis R. Madia and Ermilia E. Tarantino; his wife Shirley; his stepchildren, Jim, Lisa, Cindy and Vic; his grandchildren, Jessika, Jacob, Brian, Emily and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Ellie, Kayden and Alice. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and grandnieces/nephews.
