She was predeceased by: her husband Gerard T. "Jerry" Egan. She is survived by: her children, Terry Strombom (Bruce) and Patty Orlaski (Stan); her grandchildren, Emily Strombom, Josh Orlaski and Zack Orlaski; and her brother Harry Wagner (Eleanor).

In lieu of flowers, and to honor her life-long concern for those in need, the family requests that donations in Evelyn's name be made to D.E.L.T.A.
