“I never met David but I did know his father, my great Uncle James Elliott. His dad was amazing and would often speak very fondly of David. Uncle Jimmy was a pen pal of mine. I didn't meet him until I was a teenager and we got to know one another through many letters. Some which I still have. He was a dear Christian man who remains one of my favorite people. I had wanted to connect with David but never did. My father was George French, he passed away in 2016. -Michael French”
