She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Francisco Pinaula Mesa and Trinadad Anderson Cruz Mesa; her brothers, Pedro Mesa and Jose Mesa; her nieces and nephews, Bernice Reyes, Joyce Runyan, June Perez, Pearl Lehnhoff, Robin Matthews, April Burt and Troy Upton; and her husband Robert "Bob" Upton. She was also cherished by 22 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
