He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret; and his brother Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Helene Lopez (Kowal); his children, Lydia Martinez, Raul Martinez, Joseph Lopez and Christina Ruvalcaba (Lopez); his children-in-law, Michelle Nunez and Chris Ruvalcaba; his grandchildren, Christine Briggs (Martinez), Melissa Hamilton (Martinez), Marissa Putrick, Elise Putrick, Emily Nunez, Shyann Decker, Michael Ruvalcaba, Rachelle Ruvalcaba, Christopher Ruvalcaba and Jonathan Ruvalcaba; his great grandchildren, Lilliana Martinez and Steven Briggs IV; his grandmother Iris; his father Ross Lopez; his brothers, Victor and Ross Jr.; and also, Vincent, Jessica, Irene and Jenny. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
