“It was my honor to serve with Andre Dyer in HC-7 at North Island and HCS-5 at Point Mugu. He was an exceptional member and a great credit to the Navy. He could always be counted on to do his utmost and made our squadrons the elite squadrons in our air wing. I enjoyed flying with him. Most especially he was a fine Christian man whose faith was obvious in word, deed and character. We will all miss him greatly. My sincere condolences to his family. CDR Rob Meyer, USNR-Ret”
