He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mayme Pauline Flynn and Willis Lyle Snelling; his children, Wayne and Lauraine; his stepmother Harriet; his daughter Marie; his wife Lauraine; his sons, Kevin and Brian; and his siblings, Mike Lillis and Terry McCollum.

Donations may be made in remembrance to St. Jude's on the Mountain for debt reduction.
