With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mayor Edward Clem Grimes (Tehachapi, California), born in Oakland, California, who passed away on May 21, 2018 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Ruthie; his children, Michael Grimes (Kristen), Ryan Grimes (Kim), Jason Grimes (Marcy), Gene Waldrum, Tim Waldrum and Shelly Sottile (Rick); his grandchildren, Stephen, Hannah, Aaron, Ricky, Kelsey, Emma, Patrick, Ashlynn and Bryanna; and his siblings, Jerry Grimes (Lurene) and Shirley Unruh (Frank). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
