With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Faye Matteson (Tehachapi, California), who passed away on March 21, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Linville and Irene Linville; and her brother J. Charles Linville. She is survived by: her husband James V.; her children, Deanna Matteson Frost and Todd J. Matteson; her grandsons, Dean Frost, Chase Frost and Mikey Matteson; and her sisters, Rose Soulis and Linda Pappas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In remembrance, charitable donations may be made in her name to First Presbyterian Church of Bakersfield Food Pantry, or the Alzheimer's Association.
