He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard G. Sanford and Lorraine W. Sanford (Pond); and his stepmother Helen Sanford. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Sanford (Long); his children, Christine Sanford and Scott Hacker (Angela); his granddaughters, Alyssa and Madison Hacker; and his sister Gail Johnson (Sanford). He is also survived by many friends and family, and especially by his grandchildren.
