It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Phillip Hernandez of Taft, California, born in Pasadena, California, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Elvera; his sister Marian; and his wife Patricia. He is survived by: his siblings, Reginald and Ruth; his children, John (Stella), Kelly, Lori (Oscar) and James (John); and his stepchildren, Michele (Jason), Diana (Jason), TJ (Kathy), Carrianne (Jon), Ben (Jennifer) and Jeramiah (Sharon). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Greenlawn Funeral Home Southwest (2739 Panama Ln, Bakersfield, CA 93313).
