She was predeceased by: her parents, Jennings E. Muir, Sr. and Beulah D. Muir; her brother Jennings'Skip'Muir Jr.; her husband Vincent Harper; her grandson Jacob Chaidez; and her pets, Benny and Sammie.

She is survived by: her brother James D. Muir of Pennsylvania; her children, Susan Sawyer (Steve) of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Scott of Taft and Judy Chaidez (Chris) of Bakersfield; her grandchildren, Jennifer Diaz (Alven), Heather Saiz (Isaac) and Vincent Harper; and her great grandchildren, James, Elliana Saiz, Camila, Evelyn and Lucia Diaz. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the West Side District Cemetery (Hill Rd, Taft, CA 93268).
