She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Gill and Rosa Gill; her husband George Rose; her daughter Cecelia "CeCe" Short (CeCe); and her siblings, Mary Gill Lamoglia, Manual Gill, Inez Gill Avila and Frank Gill.
She is survived by: her daughters, Arlene M. Avila (Jerry) of Turlock and Marie Rose-Watkins (Steve) of Ripon; her son-in-law Jack Short of Napa; her brother Joe Gill (Bernice) of Los Banos; her grandchildren, Jennifer Avila of Modesto, Robin Van Honk (John) of Napa and Jake Avila of Newman; and her stepgrandchildren, Greg Watkins (Stephanie) of Modesto and Lisa Moresco (Danny) of San Carlos. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
