He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his children, Douglas Carothers, Phyllis Reynolds and Debra Uman (Thomas); and his stepsons, Tony Holt and Timothy Holt (Melinda). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
