“Sue, I met Mike when I arrived at Hahn AB, Germany. The first day we became good friends. We discovered we had much in common. Both from Air Force families from Buffalo. Both Capricorn’s a year a part. Mike noticed my stack of books and asked what I liked to read, I said “sci-fi” Mike me too! I felt that I had met my brother. He loved to lay on his bunk, smile and stroke his mustache. He introduced me to Bernkastel and Mosel wine. I hope to lift a glass with him again!!!! Wayne”

“I was saddened to learn of Mike's passing. My condolences to Mike's family and friends. I worked with Mike for 7 years at the ABC Oakland District office. He was a good Supervisor who had a sense of humor. I remember his wry smile and him stroking his moustache while holding a coffee cup. While talking to him in his office he would play imaginary golf on his desk. He showed me a different perspective when I saw things differently and he was honest. He taught me much. God bless.
