He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Benito Gandara and Julia Gandara; his grandfather Tony; his daughters, Sonya Backovich, Emily Williams and Morgan DeArmon; his son-in-law Nick DeArmon; his grandchildren, Chet Castoe, Ashlynd Powell, Lyndon Powell, Devyn DeArmon, Dakota DeArmon, Mikel Carnell and Cash Thompson; his nephew Dave Williams (Celeste) of Las Vegas, Nevada.; his niece Summer Blasquez (Ryan); his great-nephew Maceo Blasquez of Portland, Oregon; his brother-in-law Warren Clary; his girlfriend Barbara Fincham; his son Jimmy John; and his sister Rhonda Clary (Isabel Gandara). He was also cherished by his three daughters, spending time with his girlfriend.
