Gaffey of Sutter Creek, Kevin P. Gaffey of Sutter Creek, San Rafael of Sutter Creek and William W. Gaffey of Sutter Creek; and his nieces and nephews, Michael J. Gaffey (Pauline), Patrick J. Gaffey (Anne), Mary F. Quinn (Robert), Daniel J. Gaffey (Karen), John J. Hutchings (Helen), Mary I. Tuli, James A. Hutchings (Penny), Roseann M. Perez (Rene) and Mark J. Hutchings (Linda). He is also survived by four grandnephews and nieces.
