He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Ameling and Ruth Buckley Ameling; and his brother Rev. Richard Ameling. He is survived by: his wife Susan Charbonneau; his children, Claire Burk (Eric) and Ian Ameling (Van Tran); and his grandchildren, Donovan, Shannon and Duncan Burk.
