He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Newman and Florence Newman (Smith); and his brothers, Barry, Gaylord and Gerald.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sachs; his children, Lori (Kent MacElwee) and David (Yan); and his grandsons, Alexander (Alec) and Tyler.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior (5825 Bollinger Rd, Cupertino, CA 95014).
