He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Ann Thiede; and his parents, Clarence Thiede and Emma Thiede. He is survived by: his brothers, Edwin, Warren, Gordon and David; his children, Sonja and Jared; his stepdaughters, Tami and Laurie; and his stepgrandsons, Chad and Brandon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
