She was predeceased by: her parents, Burt Simpson and Ruth Simpson. She is survived by: her significant other Chris Sullivan; her sister Gail McCauley (Grant); her nieces and nephews, Jess and Amanda; and her brother Alan.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the American Red Cross or Susan G Koman Foundation. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Carol Lee Turner 's name.
