She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Spradling and Alice Spradling; her son Ronnie Hawkins Jr.; and her sister Beverly Carrozza. She is survived by: her husband John Dixon; her children, Julie Hawkins, Jill Viii (Michael), Joanne Thayer (Norman) of West Point, CA, Casey Dixon and Nanci Zuniga (Leo); her grandchildren, Justin Kristeroffersen (Sasha), Cole Kristeroffesen (Mandi), Misty Sayle, Alexandria Sayle, David Sayle Jr. Alexandra and Conner; her great grandchildren, Vanessa, Adrianna, Raegan Kristoffersen, Scott, Nickolas, William Kristoffersen and Dylan Slown; her niece Leslie Woods; her nephew Stewart Wik; and her daughter Sandy Raffelson.
She would participate in public speaking and charity work.
