He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wilson Smith and Marylyn Shire Smith; and his daughter Kristin Terlouw. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Bateman; his son Brian Smith (Jenifer Lucero); his grandchildren, Daxton Stillwell, Taylor Stillwell (Connor Landon) and Travis Smith (Nyssa); his great grandchildren, Zakia Cobian, Zaniyah Cobian and Rogan Smith; and his sibling Laurie Smith Costello (Tim).
