Paul Villalobos Obituary

Paul Villalobos, age 57, of Fresno, California, peacefully departed this world on August 22, 2023, in Stanford, California. He was graced with his first breath on May 7, 1966, in Fresno.

Paul is survived by his loving sons Paul Villalobos Jr. and Andrew Villalobos, and daughter Vanessa Villalobos. Paul is also survived by his brothers Raul Villalobos Jr., Randy Villalobos and his wife Carol, Adrian Villalobos and his wife Cyndi, and his sister Priscilla Villalobos Bertrand and her husband John Bertrand. He was preceded in death by his mother Gloria C. Villalobos and his father Raul R. Villalobos.

Paul dedicated his career to serving staff and students as a custodian at Fresno High School as well as devoting time for the athletic departments at Fresno Unified School district. Paul not only considered himself as a coworker, but also as a brother to many others who were known to him in various departments at FUSD.

Outside of his professional life, Paul had a passion for giving back to his community and ministering to others. Whether it was lending a helping hand or offering words of encouragement. In his spare time, he also enjoyed fixing cars and traveling.

Paul was deeply grounded by his faith, and remained a devout worshiper at Cornerstone Church, where he sought strength and guidance. The sacred connection he nurtured with his Creator sustained him throughout life's trials and triumphs, providing him with an unwavering spiritual compass.

Paul Villalobos will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His joy, laughter and loving spirit will continue to inspire those he leaves behind. May the strength of his faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ provide peace and comfort during this difficult time.

A wake will be held on Tuesday, September 19th 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jesse E. Cooley Jr Funeral Home (1830 South Fruit Avenue, Fresno, California 93706).

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 20th 2023 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Following the funeral service, a burial will be held on Wednesday, September 20th 2023 at 11:30 AM at the St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery (264 North Blythe Avenue, Fresno, California 93706).
