It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Esqueda Ortega Sr. (Squaw Valley, California), born in Flagstaff, Arizona, who passed away on July 26, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his daughter Joanne Thorne (Lynn); his wife Betty Ortega; his children, Karen Tiburcio, Sherie Allred, Michelle Ortega and Joel Ortega Jr.; and his wife Rachel. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
