It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Blay Menyon of Spring Valley, California, who passed away on September 8, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daisy Bopah Blaye and Samuel Blaye Boweh; and his siblings, Sarah Blaye, Marie Brown and James Blaye.
He is survived by: his wife Sonya Menyon; his sons, Jonathan Menyon and David Menyon (Kayla) of San Diego, CA; his grandchildren, Sage and Kora; and his siblings, Nengan, Viola Menyon of Liberia, Magdalene Blaye, Mae Blaye Kinnay of Renton, WA, Joanna Tarr Zonwean (Henry), Vera Menyon Weah (Jeff) of Colorado Springs, CO, David R. Blaye of Liberia, Andrew B. Menyon (Musu) and Blojay Storther (Linda) of Denver, CO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws.
He founded and was the Chief Executive Officer of a non-profit organization, the Morweh Educational Development Foundation (MEDF).
