He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Erwin and Audra Cecil Mitchell; his siblings, Gwetholyn Mitchell, Marge Lehman, Coleman and James Lee; his grandson Wylie Howard Mitchell (Smiley Wylie); his wife Camille; his sisters, Bea Jones (Bill) and Carolyn Wagner (R. L.); his children, Kemberli Colunga (Ted) of Chico, Kori Spencer (Dennis) of Salinas, Wylie (Patricia) of Salinas and Lance (Anne) of Hayden; his grandchildren, Audra Ferris (Brian), Christian Colunga (Lindsay), Colin Spencer, Harrison Spencer, Haden Mitchell and Margot Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Walter and Duke Ferris.
In lieu of Flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
