With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Madeleine F. Banfield (South San Francisco, California), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2025 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignazio Belli and Angelina Belli; and her pets, Ceasar, Scarlet, Cha Cha, Duky and Cat "Cat".
She is survived by: her husband Alfred Banfield; her children, Gigi M. Banfield, C. Michael Banfield, Austin, Loving Nonni, Savannah, Eleanor and Mya; and her cousin Diane Van Zant.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Garden Chapel Funeral Directors (885 El Camino Real, South San Francisco, CA 94080). A vigil service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the All Souls Catholic Church (315 Walnut Ave, South San Francisco, CA 94080). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Golden Gate National Cemetery (1300 Sneath Ln, San Bruno, CA 94066).
