John H. Prouty Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John H. Prouty of South San Francisco, California, who passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Prouty and Norma Prouty; his brother Jim Prouty; his former wife Kay Prouty; and his wife Marlene Prouty.
He is survived by: his significant other Nancy Kaniuth; his daughter Maryann Baumgarten; his son-in-law Mark Baumgarten; his grandchildren, Kayla and Josh Baumgarten; his sister Ann Miler; his sister-in-law Jeannie Prouty; his niece Melissa Prouty Thompson; his great-niece Siena Thompson; and the mother of his child Maureen Prouty.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Oyster Point Yacht Club (911 Marina Blvd, South San Francisco, CA 94080).
