She was predeceased by: her husband Masatane Mitani. She is survived by: her children, Yuji Mitani (Katherine), Miyo Ukita (Russell) and Frances Shinozaki (late Dick); and her grandchildren, Courtney Ukita (Michelle), Colleen Tashima (late Eric), Alyson Ryan (Dennis), Traci Kato (Robert), Dionne Kamizono (Chihaya), Andrew Shinozaki, Sally Shinozaki and Ray Shinozaki (Yumi). She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister.
