He is survived by: his wife Joy Katayama; his daughters, Lori (Patrick Sato), Kristy (Lawton Chung) and Julie (Timmy Nguyen); his grandchildren, Mia, Nathan Sato, Niko and Kenji Nguyen; and his brothers, Glenn Monji (Ann) and Curtis Monji (Sharon). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
