She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Wyman and Opal Pomponio (Wyman); her brothers, Lewis Wyman and Steve Wyman; and her sons, Kevin Vardaman and Kraig Vardaman.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Slattery (Patrick) of Ft. Wayne, IN; her brother Paul Wyman (Maxine New) of California; her former husband Robert Vardaman of Modesto, CA; and her grandsons, Christopher Vardaman of Wyoming and Jeremy Vardaman of Texas.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family requests memorials be made to Fort Wayne Rescue Mission or Fort Wayne Habitat for Humanity.
