She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Everett and Estel Ficus Everett; her son Ralph Jr.; her husband John B. Wainman; her grandson N'gai Florence; and her siblings, Merlin Everett, Lucille Wainman, Mavorine Strahle and Maxine Yagle.
She is survived by: her former husband Ralph Alton; her daughter Peggy Florence (Willie) of Sonora, CA; her siblings, Don Everett and Shirley Beaman of Monroe City, IN.; and also Janet of Camby, IN. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to the John B. Wainman Scholarship Fund.
