He is survived by: his wife Patsy; his daughter Mary Herfindahl (Jon); his grandchildren, Maggie and James; and his siblings, Kathleen Miles, Charles Wellman and Catherine Wellman (Kitty). He is also survived by 3 nephews and 4 nieces.
