He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard R. Safley and Irene H. Murphy; and his siblings, Dorothy B. Safley, Elizabeth G. Hager, Mildred I. Huddleston, Walter R. Safley, Albert E. Safley and Leonard Safley.
He is survived by: his son Barry; his wife Jacqueline E. Safley; his children, Ken Safley and Leslie Safley; his daughter-in-law Wendi Safley; and his sister Marian Williams.
