He is survived by: his wife Sherrill Evans; his daughters, Heidi (Thad Fabish), Jamie (Patrick Lynch), Kristy (Lauren Mackey) and Katie (Brenton Taylor); his sister Brigitte Miersemann Collins; his grandchildren, Margarete 'Greta', Emmett Lynch, Madelyn, Liberty Mackey, Bradley and Carson Taylor; his nephews, Eric Collins, Karl Collins and Heyder Alsaffar; and his niece Cynthia Alsaffar O'Mahony.
