He is survived by: his granddaughter Vanessa Rayona Soares; his great grandchildren, Hailey, Sean John and Christopher Kesterson; and his siblings, Delfim Soares, Guida Soares, Emilio Soares and Adelaide Ponte. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
