She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jens Peter Houlberg, Jr.; her parents, Ethel Sorenson, and Frank Sorenson, Sr.; her brother Frank Sorenson, Jr.; her sister-in-law Elissa; her daughters, Jane and Jody; her grandchildren, Brady, Jon, James, Laura, Ryan, Cara, Christos, Jacquelyn and Nicholas; her great grandchildren, Sienna, Chloe, Hanna, Taylor, Eva, Dana and West; and also, Eric, Keith and Jody. She was also cherished by parents, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, and their children.
She frequently watched religious T.V. programs, donated money to various Christian charities and their mission work. And she faithfully read her nightly devotional book until her vision no longer made it possible.
