With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwen Schafer (Sonoma, California), born in Rolette, North Dakota, who passed away on July 18, 2018 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fox and Edith Fox; her son Dan Schafer; and her sister Marianne Sullivan. She is survived by: her husband John Schafer; her children, Martin Schafer (Georgina Dews), Tim Schafer (Rachael), Ginny Westcott (Scott Callow) and Angela Fox; and her siblings, Catherine Jones, Lois Madsen, Caroline Fox, Jack Fox, Dan Fox and Joel Fox. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
