It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsa Julia Briggs of Sonoma, California, born in Eureka, California, who passed away on August 14, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ola and America; her husband Lee of Fireman's Ball; and her sister Astrid Olson of Tahoe City. She is survived by: her friend Elsa; and her children, Lynn Briggs, Julie Krnaich, Tish Haselden (Pat), Dan Briggs (Susan) and Mike Briggs (Patty). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
