It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elfriede Francesca Whitcher of Sonoma, California, who passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Elfriede may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elfriede touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her husband Robert F. Whitcher; her children, Amara Morrison and Darren Whitcher (Susan Dugal Whitcher); and her grandchildren, Myles Whitcher, Chad Whitcher and Islay Morrison.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Church (469 3rd St W, Sonoma, CA 95476).
