He is survived by: his children, Cary Ammann II (Kim) and Luke Ammann II (Marisa); his granddaughter Mackenzie Ammann; his brothers, Lew Ammann and Paul Ammann (Beverly); his niece Sherri Ammann; and his nephews, Tim Ammann (Denise), Paul Ammann Jr., Herbert Ammann, Sarah Ammann of Lisa Ammann, Tony Ammann, Nicholas Brignoli and Ryan Brignoli.
