He was predeceased by: his brother Joel; and his parents, Rose and Ben. He is survived by: his children, Cori (Gary Noskin) and Austin (Adriana Fajardo); his grandsons, Jeremy, Matthew, Esteban and Santiago; his close friend Dr. Frances Edmonston (Marcy Levinson); and his brother Michael.
