We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2018, Doris (Hartfeld) V. Ray (Solvang, California) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John H. Hartfeld and Goldie E. Hartfeld (Borrer); her spouse Walter Johnson; her children, Donald G. Ray, Jr. (Sheryl) of Lincoln, CA, Randall S. Ray (Rosemarie) of Santa Maria and Laura J. Matthews (Tim) of Solvang; her sister-in-law Luella Shell of Santa Maria; her son-in-law Waldo Peter Grossi; her husband Donald G. Ray, Sr.; her daughter Jill Johnson (Grossi); and her brothers, Jack A. Hartfeld of Portland, OR and Edward A. Hartfeld (Santa Barbara). She was also cherished by nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
