Erminia Portillo Obituary
On Tuesday, February 9, 2021, Erminia Levario Portillo, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away at home surrounded by family at the age of 80. Erminia was born March 29th, 1940, in Pecos, TX to Julia Campos Levario and Pablo Levario. She eventually made her way to the small towns of Gonzales, and Soledad CA where she spent her days as a homemaker and caregiver to her growing family.
She loved music, she loved dancing, and treasured all the holidays that she was able to spend with her five daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Erminia is survived by her loving husband, Luis Portillo, her five daughters, Elsa Martinez (Ramon Jr.), Beatrice Portillo (Reyes), Angie Portillo, Lydia Portillo, and Annabelle Portillo (Alex).
Her grandchildren, Pearl, Andrea, Charlotte, Gabriel, Sasha, Venessa, Clarissa, Jasmin, Brianna, Andrew and numerous great-grandchildren who knew her as grandma. A funeral service will be held on, Thursday, February 18th, 2021 at the Lady of Solitude Church at 235 Main St., Soledad, at 9:30 am with burial to follow at the Soledad Cemetery.
